Croatia

Croatia has been my favorite country to sail. It offers crystal clear waters, fantastic food, and a beautiful mixture of Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. On this second journey, I took my group to enjoy the magical spots I discovered in 2013. This time we sailed a gorgeous 52ft catamaran - a 6/bed/6bath vessel.

Two days before our trip, our group started to bond in Split over a fantastic dinner overlooking the sunset in the marina. Trogir became one of our favorite places of this trip, with narrow cobblestone streets, farmers' markets, and a lively atmosphere. Sailing in Croatia is not complete without a visit to the island of Hvar. The water at the marina is so clear; you can see down to the floor.

Croatia sail trip 2021 was astounding all around. The food and scenery we were able to enjoy were out of this world. But what really made it a remarkable experience was the people we shared the memories with. So proud of the outcome and heartwarming to hear our group using the phrase "a trip of a lifetime" repetitively to describe their experience.
